St Mary and St Nicolas has been at the heart of Spalding life for over 700 years. The building and its community have survived through flood, plague, famine and war.The church is open every day from 9.30am to 4.30pm to provide a sacred space for reflection, prayer and hope.

Everyone is welcome to join in Morning and Evening Prayer.

The church is open throughout the week for Prayer, with resources available in St Thomas’ Chapel.

Prayer is led on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8.30am and 5.00pm in St Thomas Chapel. Evening Prayer on Friday is ’Holy Half Hour’ with Silent Meditation.

Choir Leader and Assistant Organist

St Mary and St Nicolas Parish Church, Spalding, is seeking a Choir Leader and Assistant Organist to work alongside two excellent music colleagues forming a collaborative and flexible team looking to build up the choir and worshipful life of our outwardly focussed church. Are you of inclusive and collaborative mindset, with musical, singing and conducting experience with a choir of all ages? Do you cherish the liturgical life of the church? Working with others, can you encourage, recruit and train adults and young people in the church’s musical life? If so, we would love to hear from you!
